21 Years of Evolving

Evolving is much more than keeping up with change. It is about knowing how to listen, adapt, and create space for people to grow as well.

In this article, Myléne Brito, Head of Talent Management at agap2IT, reflects on the transformations our organisation has undergone over the past two decades.

Twenty-one years represent far more than just a number. They represent the ability to evolve, adapt, and remain relevant in a world that is constantly changing.

Over the course of these more than two decades, we have witnessed profound technological, economic, and social changes. The way we work has changed, client expectations have evolved, employees' needs have shifted, and even the way we view work-life balance is very different. What was reality 21 years ago is not the reality we experience today.

The ability to embrace change is, perhaps, one of the greatest factors behind an organisation’s success.

I also speak from a very personal perspective. I have been part of this story for seven years and, during that time, my own story has evolved as well. I have experienced different phases, challenges, and achievements that have helped shape the person and professional I am today.

What mattered most was feeling, throughout each of those moments, that I was part of a company that knew how to be present, listen, understand, and support me.

A workplace is not simply a place where we carry out our professional responsibilities. It is an environment where we grow, learn, build relationships, and navigate different stages of our lives.

That is why, when we celebrate 21 years, we are also celebrating all the people who have been, and continue to be, part of this journey.

The future will continue to bring new challenges, new ways of working, and new expectations. But just as it has throughout these years, I believe that our ability to evolve, listen, and keep people at the centre of everything we do will remain our greatest differentiator.
