agap2BIO with André Cunha

Agapier André Cunha has been wearing the agap2IT hat for 10 years. From August 2015 until now, he has had many experiences that have enriched him as a professional and our company.

André is the first interviewee in the Agap2BIO section, which we're launching now.

🧭 Time Travel

If you had to summarize these 10 years in one word, what would it be?
Stability.

On your first day at agap2IT, what was your first impression of the company?
I started in the old offices; it felt more like a startup. A relaxed, very personal environment.

And what has changed since then?
Structurally better defined. Much more specialized departments.

🤝 Culture and Connections

Do you have any funny or unusual stories from agap2IT?
I asked for a sabbatical to complete my studies, but the university refused to renew my enrollment.

What truly makes you feel like you belong here?
Recognizing many of the faces that were present in my early days. Every time I ask for help with something, I feel like people are making an effort to help me, no matter how complicated the situation.

💡 Thoughts and Lessons

If you could give one piece of advice to your 10-year-old self, what would it be?
To be more patient, not only with other people's mistakes, but with my own as well.

What have you learned here that you'll take with you in life—whether personally or professionally?
Keep a cool head in any situation. Whether it's a client imposing unrealistic deadlines or a user demanding the impossible, there's always a way to negotiate and work around the problem.

💬 To Inspire Others

In a nutshell: What does 10 years at agap2IT mean to you?
Mutual recognition between company and employee that we're headed in the right direction.

How do you envision your next chapter at agap2IT?
Every day has always been a new chapter. Every new project, every task. Live one day at a time and always work to make tomorrow better than the last.

A message for those just starting out?
Do the best you can. Ask for help when you don't know how. And when things go wrong, your family and colleagues will be there.
