Context and Goal

EPAL required a digital solution to support its field teams, ensuring greater efficiency in managing and carrying out water supply services. The goal was to design a mobile application that would enable georeferencing, updating, and navigation to service locations, even in areas with limited connectivity.

Challenges

• Providing a simple, intuitive digital tool for field teams.
• Guaranteeing application availability in offline mode.
• Ensuring seamless synchronisation with central services once mobile network connectivity is restored.

Solution‍

With over 2,560 hours of analysis and implementation, the agap2IT team developed the AQUA Services application, featuring:

• Georeferencing of services assigned to the user.
• Integrated navigation to service locations.
• Offline functionality via local device maps, with later synchronisation when mobile connectivity is available.
• Real-time updates on the status of completed services.
