Context and Goal
EPAL aimed to modernise customer interaction by creating a single digital portal that simplified communication, increased client autonomy, and enhanced management efficiency. The goal was to deliver an intuitive, modular platform adaptable to different group companies and multilingual contexts.
Challenges
- Building a centralised, user-friendly digital channel for clients.
- Integrating the platform with Aquamatrix to ensure reliable data management.
- Guaranteeing a design adaptable to different managing entities (multi-company and multi-language).
Solution
With over 3,260 hours of analysis and implementation, agap2IT (DXSpark) developed the Single Shop Digital Portal, structured into two functional blocks:
- Single Shop Portal + Web Services Layer, connecting Aquamatrix to the public-facing website.
- Multi-company and multi-language Website, enabling each managing entity to adapt the solution to its own context.
The use of HTML and CSS ensures a unique look & feel for each entity, while maintaining a common and efficient technological base.
