Context and Goal
Leroy Merlin Portugal, part of the ADEO Group, needed to modernise its digital ecosystem by integrating global ADEO technologies into its local operations. The goal was to ensure the continuous evolution of its website and associated systems, aligning with international best practices while addressing the needs of the Portuguese market.
Challenges
- Continuously maintaining and evolving Leroy Merlin Portugal’s website under a managed services model.
- Integrating ADEO’s global solutions with the existing systems in the Portuguese business unit.
- Meeting new business requirements such as flexible delivery methods and promotional features.
Solution
The agap2IT (DXSpark) team works under a managed services regime, ensuring maintenance, development, and technological integration.
Several ADEO CCDP projects were integrated, including:
- OREO Build Offer: stock and delivery information.
- MDM/CIAM: user management.
- OrderSwitcher: shopping cart.
- Cactus: pricing management.
During the transition to the CCDP website, additional improvements were implemented:
- Introduction of a new delivery method via relay points.
- Implementation of promotional codes, keeping the business aligned with market trends and customer expectations.
